We were in Walmart last night (getting seat covers for Dave's new truck) and on the spur of the moment I decided to get my vaccines: covid, flu and pneumonia. Boy, do my arms hurt today. The EMG yesterday was uncomfortable (painful even) but not impossible to bear. I had pictured that the insertion of the needles would be like the slow and easy insertion of tiny acupuncture needles but it was more like a jabbing in of a bigger needle. I laid the pin loom squares out for Char's lap robe on the bed today - just to make a final check to make sure they were all there and to see if I was to just randomly pick them out of a pile and start to sew them together they wouldn't end up coming out with ones that looked the same side by side. Sebastian and I went to the fireworks last night. The fireworks themselves were good and the pre-fireworks social crowd was great. Kids running around having fun, individuals setting off their own fireworks, people launching those floating tissue paper bags, a DJ playing music (Goodbye American Pie, etc).
